Why is education during pregnancy so important?
One of the most common feelings parents struggle with during pregnancy is fear. Fear grows easily and can be the biggest obstacle to having the empowered birth you are planning for you and your baby. The easiest way to dissolve fear is through education. The more knowledge you have, the more your questions are answered, the more you will trust your body and the birthing process. One parent also may feel more prepared than the other for birth and classes are a perfect way to get on the same page and explore questions that arise. Parents who plan for a home birth have better experiences when they’ve prepared for and understand physiologic birth.

Spinning Babies Parent Class
The Spinning Babies® Parent Class is specifically for parents to help them connect with their baby; recognize what position their baby is in; identify the optimal way a baby needs to travel through the pelvis; and how you, as the parent, can help your baby come through more comfortably and easily. The techniques and exercises learned in this class lead many people to having a more comfortable pregnancy and an easier and shorter birth!
In one class you’ll learn:
Practical techniques and body mechanics for an easier birth with practical and detailed preparation to help baby in the best position to fit the pelvis and solutions when labor seems long, painful, or has a stall
Daily practices during pregnancy ease discomforts and balance your changing body
How to connect with your baby by learning belly mapping® and by following the baby's journey in the birthing person's body throughout pregnancy, labor, and birth

San Diego is extremely lucky to have Debbe Cannone serving families! She is the ONLY educator who is certified to teach both Birth Boot Camp and Spinning Babies Parent Class in the county. She has 3 grown children and 2 bonus daughters. Debbe is passionate about birth and extremely committed to education- she has invested in more trainings and certifications than I can count! She has attended hundreds of births in all settings - home birth, birth center, and hospital.
